When Amanda McCracken started sewing modern cloth nappies - she was doing so for her newborn daughter - well, actually, she started before the baby was even born. There was never any thought about becoming one of the country's biggest reusable nappy suppliers.
Her first style of nappy she called the Mandy Mac Hemp Onesize because it was made from hemp and it was a onesize nappy. While it was self explanatory, this name is now a marketing liability - what a boring name! Mandy Mac needs your help to think of a new name for an old favourite.

We need a name that will evoke a passion for saving the environment! A name that makes you want to hug trees and sing to he birds! A name that can forever be associated with Mandy Mac and her hemp nappies!
Mandy Mac is a small, home-based business. We don't have the budget for a big marketing research team. If we were to employ a professional PR firm, we'd be assigned to the 21 year old college graduate who has ..... err ...... zero experience in childrens products. So we are asking mums and dads who have used countless nappies - wether they be reusable or disposable. We want you to name our nappy. You have the experience!
Simply tell us what you would rename the Mandy Mac Hemp Onesize nappy and why. If we receive more than one entry for the winning name then the first entered name will be declared the winner. Competition ends midnight AEST 30th June 2009. One entry per person. Winner announced Monday 6th July 2009.
